Gulf of Mexico Recreational Grouper Season Re-Opens
The recreational season for Gulf grouper in the federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico will reopen April 1. The recreational shallow-water grouper fishery (gag, black, red, yellowfin, scamp, yellowmouth, rock hind and red hind) is closed annually from February 1 through March 31.
